When Proxy IP Meets Local Water
A lot of partners just use proxy IP have stepped in the pit: obviously fill in the right parameters, dead can not connect to the server; test environment runs well, cut to the production environment on the chain. There is an invisible threshold here--Compatibility issues of domestic network environment and overseas service providersFor example, some foreign proxies use UDP protocol by default. For example, some foreign proxy tools use the UDP protocol by default, which may be kicked in the teeth by domestic carriers.
Give Proxy IPs a Localization Checkup
Pull out the ipipgo console first to try this combo:
1. TCP is the preferred protocol.(Don't ask why. It's just operator psychology.)
2. Change the heartbeat interval from the default 30 seconds to 20 seconds.
3. Add a timeout=5000 (in milliseconds) to the connection parameters.
| parameter term | recommended value |
|---|---|
| Protocol type | Mixed TCP+HTTP |
| port number | 8000-9000 range |
| Authentication Methods | Username + Password + IP Whitelist |
Dynamic IPs have to be played with
There's a hidden trick to ipipgo's dynamic pools: add aWarm-up mechanism. Don't wait to use the time to get the IP, 5 minutes in advance to batch take 20 IP spare. I've seen too many people delayed because of the current IP grab, especially the brother of the crawler, this trick can save half an hour debugging time.
Take a real case: an e-commerce platform with conventional polling cut 1 IP per minute, the result triggered the anti-climbing mechanism. Later changed toRandom interval switching(Randomized over 30-90 seconds) + IP generics mix to directly double the survival rate.
Help! My agent had a seizure.
QA time:
Q: I can't open the webpage after connecting to ipipgo proxy?
A: Don't rush to curse first, it's 80% DNS resolution messing up. Try specifying 8.8.8.8 and 114.114.114.114 in the code.
Q: Agents crawling at a snail's pace?
A: Adjust the MTU value from 1500 to 1450, it can speed up 20%, if it doesn't work, it's likely that the local network operator is playing tricks on you.
Q: Account inexplicably blocked?
A: Check to see if the traffic monitor of the antivirus program is on, this thing will sometimes reconnect like crazy. We recommend whitelisting the ipipgo client.
A cold but effective maneuver.
1. Replace the proxy server address with a CNAME domain name, not an IP address.
2. Slip a nonsensical parameter into the request header, such as X-From: ipipgo_plus
3. Renew authorization certificates at the beginning of each month and do not wait until they expire.
A final heartfelt word:Don't put your eggs in one basket..ipipgo is solid as an old dog, but it's recommended to have a backup line. Not asking you to use another service, but use theirsMulti-region mixed packagesThe servers in East China and South China each have a set of servers that can save your life in a critical moment.
